Squad Managment
Committee of Managment
The CRS Constitution states that six members of the Squad may hold positions within the CRS 'Committee of Management that runs the day-to-day activities of the Squad. There are also other key positions that are filled by members.
The positions for the Committee are:
- President
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Equipment Officer
- Captain
- Training Officer
Other key positions are:
- Australian Cave Rescue Commision Representative
- NSW Speleo Council Representative
Committtee meetings are held in February, April, July and October, for the details of the next meeting please contact the secretary.
Annual General Meeting
The Annual General Meeting and Elections are held every August. All Committee and key positions are vacated for the elections. Applicants are nominated and then elected to hold their position for 12 months.
Annual General, Committee and General meetings are held at the Headquarters Klemm St Bankstown Airport. Notice, nominations and agendas of meetings are circulated to all members prior to the meetings in accordance with guidelines. Notice may be by either email, post or uploaded onto the members section of the website.
General Meetings
General meetings are held in March, May, August and November and are held at the Headquarters Klemm St Bankstown Airport. Notice and agendas of meetings are circulated to all members prior to the meetings by email, post and uploaded onto the members section of the website.
Captain/Vice-Captain and Training Meeting
The Captain, Vice-Captain\s and Training Officer meet to plan and implement the direction of training for the Squad. Meetings are held in March, June and September.
Rules of Association and By-laws
The NSW Cave Rescue Squad Inc has its own Rules of Association and By-Laws. These can be found on the members section of the website and were last revised in 2000. Previous to this, the Rules and Bylaws were updated in 1989 just prior to the Squad seeking incorporation and gaining Accreditation.
The Rules of Association outlines the conduct of formalities of the Squad while the By-Laws outline the guidelines, procedures and conduct for Squad members.
